frame sliders set..  bolts, washers, and extensions

got this mirror tissue wrapping paper stuff at the dollar store.. thought it would be cool to wrap the sliders with for decorative purposes..

started with the right-side.. used a fairly high-size hex key to fit into the bolts.. didnt bother to loosen the pinch bolts since it wouldnt have been worth the trouble to even try..

now depending on the type of hex key, might have to get creative in starting to loosen that bolt cause it was tough..  the cotton towel was used to protect the fairing from any potential scratches that could arise while unwinding the engine mount bolt.

remove fairings only if their is high potential to scratch them..

this is a view of the mounting bolt removed..

now prepare the sliders in the right order.. looking at both sides of the chassis will give an idea of which frame slider goes on which side..

now starting with assembly of components:

first is the extension that connects to the frame or chassis..

next is the washer and bolt..

should appear like this..  now ready to bolt the first slider into the chassis frame..

prepare socket wrench and use extension for bolt..

provide as much torque as possible..

now done with one side..

same process for other-side..

cut a sheet to wrap around the sliders..

notice how mirror like reflected it is..

wrap it..

tuck the ends in to give it that crinkled chrome reflective look.. this way if light hits it then it will sparkle..

tape it up with extra clear tape so as not to get any dirt or finger prints on it otherwise its not going to have the mirror glaze shine to it..

complete and ready to go.. looks better than chrome..

recommend putting the wrapper on before putting them on cause it makes things alot easier.. it was too late to go back and do it that way..
